Jesus WON IT ALL!
Last year, I created a week of devotionals dedicated to telling the story of Holy Week. From Palm Sunday to Good Friday, to Resurrection Sunday, these are just days on the calendar; they are key events that allow us to celebrate the victory Jesus secured for all of us.
Jesus erased a debt that hung over mankind since the fall of Adam and Eve. A debt so costly that we were unable to afford it.
God longed to be reunited with his creation, but sin stood in the way. So deep was his love for us that He gave what was most precious to him so that we could have the opportunity to be in his presence again, this time forever.
No longer separated. No need for a priest. Just a direct connection to God.
Jesus did that for us… and he did it this week.
Let us remember the story, understand the purpose behind everything that happened, and celebrate the GREATEST VICTORY of all time!
